I was playing around/checking out a new program this evening because I needed something to help me procrastinate because I installed my startup disk a few days ago and needed to rebuild my computer system and not because I'm trying not to work on my fanfiction at the moment.

The program I used was Celsys's Clip Paint Lab. I also downloaded Wacom's Bamboo Dock and its Bamboo Paper program, but I'm still not sure about that.

I should get back to my writing, huh.

I had this great idea to, uh, let someone know that hope is not dead. A Series of Events (at deviantArt, FF dot net) will get done, I swear. So if you're curious as to what the hell I have been doing to make sure it's getting done:

6/14/11: Actually wrote a little today. Don't know what compelled me.

Decided to have that kiss scene in Chapter 17 after all. I also decided that my story wasn't gross or sick enough... so why not some projectile vomiting added to the mix? I don't hate the vomitee, but some people might think I do. You know, the worse thing I did that's character-bashing was making Relena switch bodies with Duo... and constantly giving Quatre and Draco embarrassing bit parts.

If I'm accused of bashing anyone in this story, it should be Malfoy, but the reader's interpretation is also valid, so whatever. :)

Been struggling this summer.

A few years ago, I thought about blending the idea of 'prep' with the idea of 'goth'. I don't understand the hatred goths have for preps, and I wanted to poke fun at this a little bit.

This sketch was the end result of all that thinking. Looking at it now, however, it looks more punk than it does goth. Prep-punk, perhaps? I think it's all those chains definitely scream 'punk'. The only thing stereotypically goth about her is her eyes.

The coloring is all Copic. I went with light colors because the pencilwork. I really don't care enough to ink it.

I don't think she care's all that much, either.

I don't know why this scan came out so blurry....

This was a pencil drawing from way back, Feb. 2006 to be exact. It was in my pile of old notebooks and things, and I had this urge to ink it, color it, and be done with it.

Heero looks awful, I think. And their heads are too large and their bodies are too thin.

I would like to think my artwork has gotten better.

Also: I posted my first deviation in a long time yesterday, a Harry Potter/Star Wars fusion thingie or another. You can find it ----->here<-----. I have mixed feelings about how it came out, but it also features Harry Potter in a Slave Leia outfit, so it's aaaaaaahhhhlllllll gooooooood.

This was written, on February 14, 2010, so perhaps I was in a romantic mood (but probably not.)

The premise: Harry and Snape have a physical relationship, but Snape doesn't allow sex, and Harry is willing to give him the space he needs, but won't stop until he can have a real relationship with Severus. And by real, he means not just physical, but sexual and OPEN to boot. (At least, I think that's what it was.)

Last year, I wrote a story for the Back-To-Hogwarts Fest over at snape-potter called "Where He Belongs" (which you can read over at Dreamwidth or at my FF.net page.) Where it came from was radically different from where it ended up, and it wasn't the first story that came from that idea.

The Premise: Harry jumps Snape after class... which lead to a naked Harry jumping Snape, period.

Here are two openings. The first is smuttier, but it's unclear as to whether Harry is a student or an assistant. The second makes it obvious Harry is a student.

( Harry flirts relentlessly with Snape during class. )

I have to clean up, which means I have to throw out my old writing notebooks. It happens every once in a while, and oftentimes, I just put it off for later. Fortunately for all of us me, I have a long summer ahead of me.

The premise: Yuuri catches a demon cold that messes with his magic abilities. Wolfram plays nursemaid. (what do you mean, it's been done already)

Summer has come and gone, and it's time I get back to work, yeah?

This one is a couple of days late. I drew a doll version at work (doll, as in stiff and barely emotional), and then drew a more dynamic version with Illust Studio. It's pretty good, I think. If it was cleaner, I would have posted it as a deviation.

I, uh, don't have much to say at the moment. I've been sleeping too much lately, and my mind is constantly on tightening my belt for the upcoming dry season. Dieting is hard... but living on a tight budget is harder.
